Behind the logo

Behind the logo

My logo has a special meaning and relevance to me, which I thought I would share:

The line drawing of the leaf is a tracing around a dried leaf off a Flame tree that my late Dad grew from seed. I've always had an affinity to Flame trees, and the beautiful shape of their leaves are quite distinctive to those that know them.

It directly relates to me and the business on a number of levels:

  • My love of Flame trees (Brachychiton);

  • The fact that the leaf drawing is straight from a tree that my Dad grew from seed, collected by us together;

  • My Dad, and the journey he had in the Aged Care and palliative care system was, from what I have heard, quite good - which is the exception and not the norm unfortunately;

  • I want to provide a service to older locals that gives them a positive experience in the Aged Care system, and allows them to continue to undertake the joy of gardening/bush regeneration on their properties in some capacity, with me working directly alongside them.
